  Y eni bir beceri edinmeye karar vermek , hayatımızda olumlu değişiklikler yapmak için harika bir fırsattır. Ancak bu beceriyi öğrenmek ve uygulamak kolay değildir. Yeni bir beceri edinmek için süreklilik, çaba ve sabır gereklidir. Özellikle öğrendiğiniz beceri kompleks bir beceri ise sürekliliği sağlamak  ve başarılı olmak için hayatınızın birçok alanını yeniden şekillendirmeniz gerekecektir.Bu yazımda herhangi bir beceri edinmede sürekliliğin önemini kendi hikayem üzerinden ele alacağım. 01/04/2022 tarihinde web proğramcılığını öğrenme adına “180 Günde DevriKod” isimli yolculuğa başladım. Bu yolculukta sürekliliği sağlama adına da bu kararımı aşağıdaki fotoğrafla birlikte instagram sayfamdan herkes görecek şekilde  paylaşmıştım.           For the past three days, I have been sick and haven't been able to do any learning considering coding. I noticed that when my mind is not occupied, I tend to scroll through social media, which is an expected outcome for me especially when ı am sick. However , even though social media is filled with constant entertaining stuff , I still feel bored and unsatisfied. Usually boredom is a reason for many people to spend time on social media to get rid of that feeling  but ı can definitely say it only increases the feeling, at least for me. So, I have decided to change my approach. Despite being sick, as of tomorrow,  ı will do some light studying and reading every  day. I have laid out a plan for the next 30 days, which is not much different than  what ı have been doing for a while. However , the difference will be consistent reading , mainly on blockchain.   I am sure most people know the story of tortoise and hare. There are various lessons that we can take out of that story but In this post   I will relate the story with how my coding journey started, the mistakes I have done along the way and why the approach of tortoise is more suitable than the hare's?   I started learning web development on 1 st April, 2022 after seeing countless roadmaps like “How to be a software engineer in 6 months” on the internet.   I was pretty hyped and I immediately started to learn HTML-CSS based on one of those roadmaps. However my journey ended up a month later. I haven’t studied a single day till the end of summer. Especially since September, the date I started 100DaysofCode challenge,  I have been considering any opportunity  to expand my horizons and explore the unknown. There are books, countless medium-blogs writings, podcasts that I ‘d like to consume.  That  usually arises the question “How not to be overwhelmed “ by such an ocean of knowledge? I am sure there might be different approaches to overcome this problem  but my approach is to prioritize the knowledge and make a balance between coding and other daily matters. Without balance, I know things going to break down . I am aware of that learning programming is a marathon. Therefore ı need to make a balance.
